China's largest privately-owned agribusiness has taken a majority stake Australia's fourth biggest beef processor.

The New Hope Investment Fund's decision to make an investment in Queensland's Kilcoy Pastoral Company coincides with an extraordinary increase in Australian beef exports to China over the past 12 months.
